Kathy’s “first” career was in customer service including nine years at a national real estate management and brokerage company. As with many people she held a variety of positions throughout her “office-bound” career, but in all cases the bosses quickly determined that she was great with the customers and clients. She had a way of making the client feel comfortable with her and thus they gained a comfort and confidence in the company. She could quickly recognize each new client as they came into the company, and Kathy always had a way of making them feel like a part of the family. This enthusiasm and care for the clients led her to positions of Administrative Assistant to the President of the last two firms she worked. In that position she was often the “first person" the clients would see and talk to when they called. As they soon learned, Kathy could also be the “last person" because they knew she would get the job done if they gave it to her. Thus, it was a natural progression for Kathy to begin her “second” career in residential real estate sales. She was first licensed in December 2001 and quickly utilized her customer service skills in her real estate business. She will be entering her 12th year in the business and joined several other Brokers to launch Homes By . . . LLC. Just as in her prior career, Kathy feels that every client is important and takes a personal interest in each and every one.
